📱 App Icon
Design and define an app icon that stands out and reflects your brand.
App Icon Guidelines
Your App Icon is the first thing users see in the App Store, on their home screens, and throughout the app experience. It’s a key part of your brand identity and should stand out—while also following platform guidelines.
What can be used as an app icon?
You can use:
Your brand logo or mark
A custom design icon created specifically for the app
The icon must follow platform-specific requirements:
Let us help!
Since app icons require multiple sizes, formats, and resolutions, we recommend providing your design in a vector format (e.g., SVG, AI, or EPS).
Our team is happy to take care of:
Creating platform-compliant icon files
Optimizing for different screen sizes
Handling asset deployment with your app update
Best practices for app icon design
Use a unique shape or symbol
Make your icon recognizable in a crowded app list or store.Keep it simple
Avoid clutter—less is more.Skip the text
The app name appears below the icon, so no need to include it in the design.Use vibrant colors
Bold colors can help your app stand out visually.
In-App Icon
In addition to your home screen app icon, tchop also provides several other logo placements within the app. We are using the app icon on your
Launch screen - the splash screen users see when the app launches
as a small logo - in the header or in the settings screen
and on multiple "Welcome" and "Login Screens" - shown on multiple pages of the user flow
See the "M" here in this sample:

If you provide us with your design in a vector file format, we are happily creating the “In App Logo” for you along the required specifications. It of course can be the same as the app icon, but sometimes it also make sense to change it slightly.
Again, please upload only vector based file formats like .svg or .eps.
Important Note
Changing the app icon requires submitting a new app update to the stores. Make sure you're happy with the design before going live.
If you're unsure about which version to use, feel free to submit multiple options—we’re happy to review them and make a recommendation.
