Apple Podcasts Integration

Connect a podcast show and let every episode arrive as a card with title, description and artwork.

Connect one podcast show and every episode arrives as a card, with title, description and artwork.

What it does for you

  • Your podcast lives where your audience already is. No separate app, no "find us on your podcast platform" instructions.

  • Every episode, automatically. Publish to your podcast host as usual. The episode shows up in the mix on its own.

  • A back catalogue in one step. Set backfill high at creation and the existing episodes come in with the new ones.

Settings

Apple Podcasts URL. The show page on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/.... The show, not a single episode.

Find it by searching for your show on podcasts.apple.com and copying the URL of the show page.

Mix, name, backfill and auto-publish work as described in How integrations work.

What comes across

Each episode arrives with:

  • Title

  • Description, as written in your show notes

  • Episode artwork, or the show artwork when the episode has none

Show notes written for podcast apps sometimes carry a wall of links and sponsor text. That comes across as written. If your notes are long, consider a house style that puts the useful summary in the first two lines.

Limitations

Published shows only. A private or unlisted feed cannot be connected.

Apple is the reference, not the host. The show is read through its public Apple Podcasts listing. If the show is not listed there, this integration is not the route. RSS may be.

Episode order. Episodes arrive as they are found. For a chronological archive, check the order in the mix after the backfill and adjust card positions if needed.

The usual shared limits apply. Roughly 30 minutes between checks, silent errors, one-time backfill. See the overview page.

Summary

One show, one mix, every episode with title, description and artwork. Set the backfill high at creation if you want the archive, because backfill only runs once.
