tchop™ launches Tags on cards to streamline content curation and enhance discoverability
Berlin-based platform tchop™ introduces Tags on cards, a scalable content tagging system that helps teams organise, personalise and analyse editorial content across branded apps.
Berlin, Germany - 19 November 2024
tchop™, the all-in-one content and community platform for branded mobile and web apps, has announced the launch of Tags on cards. A flexible new feature designed to improve how editorial teams structure, filter and distribute content across their apps.
With the introduction of Tags, users can now assign one or more labels to any card, regardless of content type. These tags serve as a lightweight, scalable taxonomy that supports more dynamic content organisation, easier reuse and enhanced user navigation across both mobile and desktop interfaces.
“Tags offer a powerful yet intuitive way to bring order to fast-moving content,” said Heiko Scherer, CEO of tchop. “They allow editors to surface the right content at the right moment, without needing to reinvent how they already work.”
Structured flexibility, editorial control
Built to support a wide range of use cases, Tags can reflect anything from topical themes and communication campaigns to audience segments, departments or formats. Cards can be filtered by tags within the editorial dashboard, enabling teams to manage large volumes of content more efficiently. Editors can also create new feeds (mixes) based on tag combinations making it easy to deliver tailored experiences without duplicating assets.
This update empowers customers to build and maintain structured content environments while retaining the speed and simplicity that makes tchop™ effective for agile teams.
Laying the groundwork for personalisation and insights
Beyond curation, Tags unlock the ability to analyse content performance by theme, enabling organisations to understand which topics and formats drive engagement. Over time, this tagging layer will serve as the foundation for personalised content delivery and advanced content intelligence features currently in development.
Already in use by select beta customers, Tags are now available to all users. The rollout reflects tchop’s ongoing commitment to improving content lifecycle management and editorial productivity across internal communication, publishing and branded community use cases.
